Now Playing: The Soundtrack of My Life
Topic: Life... and such.
Right... well, I suppose I don't have to do any big intros because, seriously, who else is going to read this?????
Well, if you ARE reading this and you don't know me, here's some basic information for you.
My name is Erin, my nickname is The Don or Grin Don. Long story behind the second one. I am six feet tall,
wear size twelve shoes, have blonde hair and blue eyes, and am pretty much a huge nerd. Get over it.
So, I'm kind of annoyed right now, because my typing is going extremely slowly. Like, the computer or site or
something is acting retarded. I hope that this site isn't always this way, or I'll graduate from annoyed to just plain
pissed off.
Something else you should know about me: I am sarcastic in the extreme. So... don't take most things I say
seriously unless I say it's serious. :)
I guess I should say right off the bat that the reason I'm doing a blog is because writing in a traditional journal
takes too long for me, but I am a literary creature by nature and have an overwhelming desire to write (or type)
every thought that pops into my head. So this blog is here to be private from my friends and open to anyone who
doesn't know me. Kind of weird, I know, but whatever.
I have to have somewhere to talk about the novels I'm trying to write (like, half a dozen at once--smart, I know)
or my thoughts on music or life, or whatever. I don't know why anybody else would care about my thoughts or
problems or weird, eff-ed up ideas for novels but it might lead to an entertaining read. Do what you will.
I guess I can summarize my day so far? Okay.
5:30: wake up and begin the treacherous process of getting ready for school
7:10: leave for school. roads good, traffic good, etcetcetc like you care.
7:20: arrive at school... get help in physics. still don't get it.
7:45: AP English. we're watching "The Great Gatsby" so there's not much to report, except it's pride week and today
was movie character day. Stephenie Ort came dressed as Juno. Let me just say, she's big enough without the pillow
under her shirt. Ew. I really kind of hate her.
9:00: Honors Physics. not good. that class is so hard it's not even funny. What WAS funny was Golden's smart board
was on the same frequency as Shovlain's, so it kept randomly switching slides during notes. Then, halfway through
class, The Man (aka our principal, Ms. Thoraldson (sen?)) came on the announcements and said because of
the impending winter storm we were switching to early out schedule. There was great rejoicing.
9:40: Astronomy. Hysterical. We basically played with balloons the whole time.
10:35: A'Cappella Choir: we sang J'entends le Moulin, which was great fun. Then we sang Come to Me, My Love....
which was not.
11:30: College Psychology: boooooooring like always. I should probably start my research paper buuuuut I won't.
12:20: School out! Whoo! I picked up my senior t-shirt, which is kind of lame but not really.
Later: ate lunch at Culver's with Jess and Holly. Still no sign of apocalyptic snowstorm.
2:00: Flurries.
2:30: Apocalyptic snowstorm.
3:00: right now. holy crap.
So, that's my life so far. Today. Aaaaand yeah. I don't really have much else to say except I hope we get the
predicted 7-10 inches, and school is cancelled tomorrow.
